EU Withdrawal Manager for WooCommerce – EU harmonized withdrawal-button requirement under Directive (EU) 2023/2673 and the Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen), with all the bells and whistles included. It’s built on your real order data, not a contact form that just emails the store.
A dedicated withdrawal page lets the customer:
- Enter their email address and receive a one-time verification code.
- Verify their identity by entering the code.
- Select an eligible order — the same time window as the actual withdrawal deadline, based on your delivery-time setting — and submit the withdrawal declaration.
When a withdrawal declaration is submitted, the plugin records it, sets a dedicated order status, sends the customer a confirmation email and notifies the store. The confirmation email only confirms what was received — it makes no commitment about refund amount, shipping cost or timing until you’ve actually reviewed the declaration. All emails use the standard WooCommerce email template so they match the rest of your store’s messaging.
On the admin side, the same order data drives everything: a single shared deadline calculation keeps the order list, the actual submission window, and the WooCommerce order status in sync — there’s no separate frontend estimate that can drift from what the backend actually enforces. A Setup checklist tracks the handful of things every store needs to configure, GDPR-covered data is retained only as long as you choose, and every withdrawal is logged with a direct link back to the order.
This plugin’s flows have been reviewed and adjusted to harmonize with the withdrawal-button requirement: identity verification, a two-step confirmation, and immediate confirmation of receipt, matching the pattern required across EU member states. This plugin provides tools, not legal certification: you remain responsible for ensuring your store’s texts and exclusions comply with the consumer protection legislation applicable in your market.
Interface texts are in English by default, with a complete Swedish translation bundled and used automatically.

- Quick setup, advanced options out of the way. The settings screen has two tabs: “Allmänt” (General) for the handful of things every store needs, and “Avancerat” (Advanced) for exclusions by category/product, partial returns, data retention and display customization.

- Extensive exclusion options for custom-made products where the right of withdrawal does not apply. Exclusions can be set by tag, product category or individual products.
- A confirmation email that only confirms. It lists the requested products as a reference copy of the order, but makes no promises about refund amount or timing — that follows separately once you’ve reviewed the declaration.
- Admin notification on every withdrawal declaration, with a direct link to the order.
- Automatic order status update in the WooCommerce order view.
- Right-of-withdrawal information shown at checkout and on the order confirmation page — as a floating tab (default) or inline WooCommerce text, depending on your display setting. Never on the cart page; the law requires this information before the customer is bound by the contract, and checkout already satisfies that.
- Configurable time limit, used consistently for both the withdrawal deadline and which orders the customer can select — never two different figures to keep in sync. Buffer days approximate the delivery time; the exact delivery date is checked manually with your carrier. Automatic delivery-date lookup via Sendify and Fraktjakt is planned for the premium version.
- Contact details from the admin panel printed automatically on all pages in the withdrawal flow.
- Two display modes — Floating tab (default, works regardless of theme and page builder, including Klarna Checkout) or Hook (inline WooCommerce styling, if your checkout already uses the standard layout).
- GDPR-friendly — withdrawal data is deleted automatically after a configurable number of months (default 36), and the records are covered by WordPress’s own personal-data export and erase tools. You choose whether the data is removed when the plugin is uninstalled.

Step 1: the customer enters the email address used for the order and receives a one-time code. No login required.
Step 2: the customer enters the six-digit code. Pasting the full code fills all six boxes at once.
Step 3: only orders still within the withdrawal deadline are listed, based on the store's own delivery-time setting.
Step 4: the customer reviews the declaration before submitting, selects which products to include in a partial withdrawal, and can add an optional message. The notice under the button states plainly that submitting does not process a refund.
Step 5: the declaration is registered and the customer gets an on-screen receipt with the order contents. The wording confirms receipt without promising a refund outcome.

Withdrawal requests get their own order status and their own filters in the order list, so nothing depends on an email arriving.
