You know fresh articles get you found on Google and recommended by AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini. You also have a business to run. Writing takes hours, and handing it off usually comes back sounding like nobody in particular.

Blirbit learns how you talk in one short interview, then writes and publishes articles to your site on a schedule: your opinions, your phrasing, your expertise. Got something new to promote? Send Blirbit your own notes, a PDF or a YouTube link from your dashboard and it becomes your next article.

Think of it as an autoblogger that sounds like you, not like a robot: real articles with varied paragraphs, your opinions and your offers, a featured image, categories, tags and SEO fields filled in.

This plugin is the WordPress side of that connection. Install it, copy one token into your Blirbit dashboard, and you are connected. Just blirb-it.

Why a token instead of passwords

• No passwords shared. You never give Blirbit your login or an Application Password.
• Revocable in one click. Settings > Blirbit > Create a new token, and the old one stops working instantly.
• Stored safely. The token is shown once and only a SHA-256 hash is saved. Tokens are compared in constant time.
• Limited by design. Blirbit posts as a user you choose and can never do more than that user is allowed to. The token works only on the routes Blirbit needs (posts, media, categories, tags and the current-user check), never on the rest of your site.
• Works on strict hosts. The token travels in its own X-Blirbit-Token header, so hosts that hide Application Passwords or strip the Authorization header are not a problem.
• SEO fields filled in. SEO title, meta description and focus keyword go straight into Yoast SEO or Rank Math.

How this plugin works with Blirbit (third-party service)

This plugin only answers requests. It makes no outbound requests, sends nothing to Blirbit on its own and runs no scheduled jobs. When Blirbit connects with your token, it reads your categories and recent posts and creates the articles, images and SEO fields for your site. That exchange is covered by Blirbit’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

A Blirbit account is required. Without one, the plugin does nothing.

For developers

REST routes under blirbit/v1, available only to token-authenticated requests:

• GET /ping: connection check (publishing user, capabilities, detected SEO plugin, upload limit, timezone).
• POST /seo: post_id, title, description, keyword. Written to Yoast SEO or Rank Math, otherwise to _blirbit_seo_title, _blirbit_seo_description and _blirbit_seo_keyword post meta.

The token is also accepted on the core wp/v2 routes for posts, media, categories, tags and users/me. Send it as X-Blirbit-Token: blb_... or Authorization: Bearer blb_....
