CodeUnwrap – Shortcode Cleanup adds a screen under Tools where authorized editors can remove a specific shortcode from posts and other editable content types. Enter a shortcode name, choose whether to remove the complete shortcode or preserve its inner content, and let the plugin process content in small AJAX batches.
The plugin can also scan for shortcode tags that are not currently registered. Scan results are presented for review, and nothing changes until specific items are selected. WordPress revisions provide recovery points where supported.
