Conformitate România for WooCommerce provides the essential tools for a Romanian WooCommerce store to comply with Romanian and EU consumer protection law: a digital contract-withdrawal feature, SAL/SOL dispute-resolution icons, a GDPR-compliant cookie consent banner, and checkout without a mandatory Romanian personal identification number (CNP).
The plugin’s own settings screens and all customer-facing text (banners, emails, checkout fields) are in Romanian, since it’s built specifically for the Romanian market.
A separate Pro plugin (Conformitate România for WooCommerce Pro, requires this plugin active plus a valid license) adds partial-item withdrawal, a legal document generator, e-Factura deadline monitoring, correct reference pricing for discounts (Legea 148/2023), review transparency, and a compliance dashboard. Without the Pro plugin active, the corresponding sections of the settings page show a “Go Pro” button.
