
Craftengineer Article Highlights Box helps readers quickly understand the value of an article by adding a simple insight box above single blog post content.
The box includes:
- Key takeaway
- Why this matters
- What to do next
Admins can enable or disable automatic insertion and edit the default section headings from Settings > Craftengineer Article Highlights Box.
The plugin is PHP-only, lightweight, theme independent, and uses the WordPress the_content filter.
Per Post Customization
You can override the generated text for any post using custom fields.
Add these custom field keys to a post:
_crafarhi_key_takeaway
_crafarhi_why_matters
_crafarhi_next_step
Example values:
_crafarhi_key_takeaway - This article explains how summaries improve reader engagement.
_crafarhi_why_matters - Readers can decide quickly whether the article is useful.
_crafarhi_next_step - Use the tips from this article on your next blog post.
