🚀 One-minute setup

1. Install & activate the plugin.
2. Click “Create my agent” in Settings → daita AI Agent (no Workspace ID to copy).
3. Click “Connect WooCommerce” (optional) — the agent now searches your catalog.

External services

This plugin connects your site to daita, a third-party AI service, to provide the chat/voice/commerce assistant. This is required for the assistant to work.

• It loads the widget script from https://daita-ai.com/embed.js.
• When a visitor opens the chat, the widget sends their messages (and, only if you enable voice, audio) together with your Workspace ID to the daita backend (https://*.cloudfunctions.net) to generate replies. It also sends a one-time per-session “heartbeat” (your site’s hostname + Workspace ID) so you can confirm the agent is installed.
• If you connect WooCommerce, your site’s product catalog is read (via the public WooCommerce Store API) and indexed by daita so the agent can search it; if you enable order lookups, a read-only WooCommerce API key is created so the agent can check order status. Product and order webhooks notify daita of changes.
• No data is sent until a visitor interacts with the widget (the heartbeat aside).
