WordPress builds the URL of a post from its full title, so a long title gives a long URL. Ecreate Auto Slug Creator removes the words that add nothing, such as “the”, “and” and “for”, and keeps the URL short and readable.

The plugin works for posts and WooCommerce products, and it can also clean up the URLs of content you published before you installed it. Old URLs keep working, because WordPress redirects them to the new ones.

• Titles in scripts that WordPress cannot convert to Latin letters are left as they are.
