Eventful for Elementor is an Elementor addon for The Events Calendar plugin. It gives you five Elementor widgets — Grid, Carousel, Slider, Minimal List and Timeline — so you can showcase your events in fully customizable layouts without writing a single line of code.

WHAT’S NEW IN 2.0

FIVE ELEMENTOR WIDGETS

1. Eventful Grid
Display your events in a responsive multi-column grid with independent column and row gaps. Use the Custom layout or switch to one of three ready-made designs.

2. Eventful Carousel
Turn your events into a touch-friendly carousel powered by Swiper.js, with per-breakpoint columns and rows, autoplay, arrows and dots.

3. Eventful Slider — New in 2.0
One event per slide, with the image running the full width of the slide. Ideal for hero sections and featured-event banners.

4. Eventful Minimal List — New in 2.0
A compact row with the image beside the event details. Pick the Custom layout or one of three ready-made designs.

5. Eventful Timeline — New in 2.0
Events alternate either side of a centre line that fills as the page scrolls. Add an optional month and year label between event groups, and set the colour and thickness of the line, the dot and the date badge.

Each widget can be switched off individually from the plugin’s admin panel.

Event Query Control

• Latest or Featured — show the latest events, or only events marked as featured in The Events Calendar
• Upcoming events — show events that have not happened yet, optionally judged by start date
• Include or Exclude specific events
• Exclude by event type — hide the current (ongoing) event or password-protected events
• Hide Free Events — hide events with no price or a price of 0
• Hide Events Without Images — keep your layout clean by hiding imageless events
• Order By ID, title, event start date, slug or random, in ascending or descending order
• Limit — control how many events are shown

AJAX Live Filters

Add a styled filter bar above your events so visitors can narrow results without a page reload:

• Category and Tag filters — with IN / AND / NOT IN operators and AND / OR relation between filters
• Button-style filter tabs — with event counts, hide-empty option, renamed “All” label, icon and alignment
• Live keyword search — with custom label, placeholder, width and alignment
• Reset button — clears all active filters in one click

Sortable Event Elements

Drag to reorder the parts of each event — thumbnail, title, event meta, content and social share — or remove a part to leave it out.

Image Display

• Show or hide the featured image
• Choose any registered image size
• Retina display — load 2x resolution images on high-DPI screens
• Thumbnail overlay — show a category badge or date label over the image

Event Meta Fields

Choose which event details appear and configure each independently:

• Taxonomy — event category or tag with a custom icon
• Venue — address, city, state, country, postal code, phone number; optional Google Maps link
• Organizer — organizer name with a custom icon
• Price — ticket price with a custom icon
• Event Time — start date, end date, or a “Start to End” range in preset formats or your own PHP date format

Title & Content

• Show or hide the title; set HTML tag (H1–H6, div, span, p); character limit and alignment
• Show excerpt, content with a word or character limit, or full content; control HTML tag stripping; custom ellipsis text

Read More & Social Share

• Read More as a styled button or a plain text link, with custom label
• Text Link style controls — typography, colour, hover colour, padding, margin, and a Keep on One Line option
• Share buttons for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Email and WhatsApp

Pagination

• Load More button (AJAX) — with custom button label and end-of-results message

Carousel & Slider Controls

• Autoplay with configurable speed and pause-on-hover
