Event Management – Tickets, Bookings and Calendar

Run events on your WordPress site: publish an event, sell or issue tickets, take
bookings, and check people in at the door with a QR code.

What you can do

• Create events with dates, times, location and a map
• Offer several ticket types per event, each with its own price and limit
• Take bookings from visitors through a form on the event page
• Manage bookings from the admin, including discounts, fees and booking status
• Email confirmations and reminders from templates you control
• Check attendees in by scanning the QR code on their ticket
• Show a calendar or a list of upcoming events with a shortcode

Shortcodes

Put a calendar or an event list anywhere with the shortcodes documented on the
plugin’s settings screen, under the Events menu.

Tickets and bookings

Each ticket type carries its own price, available quantity, and the dates it can
be bought and used. A booking records who bought it, how many, and what they
paid, and every ticket issued gets a unique QR code for check-in.

Requirements

WordPress 5.0 or later and PHP 7.0 or later. Nothing else is needed: bookings and
check-in data are stored in your own database.

How to use after installation

1. Go to event section in event plugin menu and create an event by entering name, date range, time, description, tags, featured image, event category and tickets connected to it.
2. Create tickets for created events by going in tickets section, click on add new ticket and enter details e.g name, description, seats availability, minimum and maximum tickets per booking, selling dates and check-in dates.
3. Create event category for events by entering name and slug.
4. Check bookings by users in booking section and edit status as well
5. Show google map on front page of website for event location. Just enter google map api key in settings section, google map will be shown if you have entered valid address in event details.
6. Choose currency from settings area and you can select left or right selection for currency placement.
