H6 Private Store makes all or part of your WooCommerce shop private, then lets the right people in. It is built for shop owners, not developers: every setting is a plain question with a plain answer, and a short summary at the top tells you exactly what is private right now.
Everything is included. There is no paid version and nothing is locked.
Good for:
- Trade and wholesale shops
- B2B shops where customers log in to order
- Members-only shops
- Shops that are not open yet, or are invite-only
- Private product catalogues
Choose what is private
- Your whole website, just your shop, or only certain pages and products
- Pick which parts of the shop to protect: shop page, product pages, categories, tags, cart and checkout
- Keep chosen pages, posts or products public while everything else stays private
Let customers in
- Customers log in to their account, or enter a shared password
- Choose how long a password lasts, from one visit to 30 days
- Send visitors to your login page, or show them your own message and button
- Preview your shop exactly as a visitor sees it
Approved and trade customers
- Approve customers by account type (for example a “Trade customer” role), or one at a time
- Block individual customers, even if their account type is approved
- Give someone access until a date you choose, and it ends automatically
- Keep single products or whole categories for chosen customers
Prices and buying
- Show prices to everyone, to logged-in customers, or only to approved customers
- Make the same choice for who can add to basket and buy
- Write your own message to show in place of the price and the buy button
- Let everyone browse while keeping prices and ordering for approved customers
Search engines and privacy
- Ask search engines not to list your private pages (on by default for new installs)
- Optionally ask them not to visit private pages at all
- Stop other apps and websites reading your private products through your shop’s data feeds
Easy setup and checks
- Quick setup for trade shops, password-protected shops, coming-soon pages and selected products
- A plain-English summary of what is private right now
- Check any customer against any product: can they see it, see the price and buy it, and why
- A history of recent changes to your settings
Technical notes
- Search engine settings send
noindexheaders on private pages, and the strictest option also adds rules torobots.txt. - “Block other apps” blocks logged-out requests to the WooCommerce REST API and Store API product endpoints while your shop is private.
- The plugin declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS). It does not read or write order data.
- Shared-password access uses a signed cookie; the password itself is stored as a hash.
