Format Conversion (PNG → JPG, HEIC → JPG)

Many PNG images are photographs or graphics without transparency — storing them as PNG wastes space. ImageCraft detects whether a PNG uses transparency and converts opaque ones to JPG, often cutting the file size in half. For HEIC images (common from iPhones), ImageCraft auto-converts them to JPG on upload so every browser can display them.
