NeuraDeer Connector links your WordPress website, blog or WooCommerce shop to your NeuraDeer account, so you can run an AI chatbot on your site without touching code.
It works for any WordPress site – a content website or blog gets its own AI chatbot with a custom personality (no products required), and WooCommerce shops additionally get product import and real-time catalog sync.
What you can do from the WordPress admin:
- Dashboard: your current plan, message/product/token usage, and whether the widget and your shop are connected – all on one screen, refreshed on demand.
- Connect your site with a short pairing code you generate in your NeuraDeer account (or create a new account, verified by an emailed 2FA code).
- Bot personality (Settings): choose a persona and tone, add custom instructions and quick replies – for websites, blogs and shops alike. Each field explains when it is useful.
- Webshop (WooCommerce only, optional): connect WooCommerce with one click – the plugin creates a read-only REST API key for you – then import your catalog and turn on real-time sync. Imported products are listed in a sortable, searchable table you can edit or clean up.
- Learning: scan a page URL, upload a PDF/TXT/CSV/DOCX document, and work through the questions your bot could not answer – each one marked answered or not, searchable and sortable. Everything you teach it is listed in a knowledge base you can edit or clean up later.
- Widget: place the chat widget in your site footer with one click, and customize the image, color, position, icon, welcome message and auto-open.
- Statistics: message counts and token usage at a glance, and a plan comparison with a link to your online NeuraDeer profile for billing.
- Multilingual admin UI: Hungarian, English and German, switchable in the plugin.
The plugin only orchestrates these actions – all AI processing happens on the NeuraDeer service.
External services
This plugin connects to the NeuraDeer service (https://neuradeer.com) to provide the AI chatbot. It is required for the plugin to function.
What is sent, and when:
- When you connect / register: your site URL, and – only when creating a new account from the plugin – the name, email address, password and shop name you enter in the registration form.
- When you import products or enable real-time sync (WooCommerce only): product data (name, description, price, stock status, category, image URL, product URL) is sent to NeuraDeer for indexing.
- When you use Learning: the page URL you scan, or the document file you upload, is sent to NeuraDeer to be added to your knowledge base.
- When you save bot/widget settings: the settings values you enter are sent to NeuraDeer.
- On every request: your NeuraDeer public key and a security key generated by the plugin are sent as request headers to authenticate.
- When the chat widget runs on your public pages: the widget loads a script from NeuraDeer and end-user chat messages are processed by the NeuraDeer service.
No data is sent until you connect the plugin to a NeuraDeer account. All requests go to https://neuradeer.com.
