ShareNivo adds polished social sharing without loading social SDKs, remote fonts, tracking pixels, analytics beacons, or share-count APIs. Its frontend uses one local stylesheet and one small local script, loaded only when ShareNivo can produce output.
What makes ShareNivo different?
ShareNivo combines six placements and behavior-based prompts in a local, privacy-first engine. Delay, reading progress, inactivity, comment return, exit intent, and WooCommerce confirmation triggers run in the browser without analytics collection or background calls to social networks. Its compact and full-width mobile bars preserve configured shapes and use equal responsive columns without forcing page-level horizontal scrolling.

- Floating desktop rail, inline buttons, mobile sticky bar, popup, fly-in, and image sharing.
- Local triggers for delay, scroll depth, reading completion, inactivity, desktop exit intent, comments, and WooCommerce order confirmation.
- Frequency controls stored in the visitor’s browser with no server call.
- Follow profiles for Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Channels, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Telegram, Reddit, LINE, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, GitHub, Mastodon, Snapchat, Twitch, Discord, Patreon, Vimeo, Medium, and Substack.

- Optional duplicate-safe Open Graph and X preview metadata, disabled by default and skipped when common SEO plugins are active.
- Click-to-share quote block and shortcode with four original local styles and accessible keyboard/focus behavior.
- Image sharing controls with minimum width/height, four positions, per-image opt-out classes, and selectable Pinterest image/description sources.
- Separate floating-rail shape/color/hover settings, button limits, and mobile edge positioning.
- Share and Follow blocks, quote/share shortcodes, widgets, actions, and filters.
- Share shortcode support for explicit post_id and selected comma-separated networks while preserving existing ShareNivo and ShareNova names.
- Validated JSON import/export.
- Upgrade migration for existing ShareNivo and ShareNova settings and integrations.
Share counts were removed in 2.0. They require external requests, add latency, and are increasingly unavailable or inconsistent across social platforms.
External services
ShareNivo does not contact external services automatically, collect analytics, or send visitor data to ShareNivo servers. When a visitor deliberately clicks a share button, their browser opens the selected network’s sharing page and sends the current page URL and, where supported, its title, text, or selected image. A follow button opens the full profile URL entered by the site owner. The destination receives the request only after that click and may receive standard connection data from the visitor’s browser. ShareNivo adds no tracking parameters.
