Feed plugins send whatever your products contain. When a product has no image, no price, no description, no brand or no GTIN, Google Merchant Center and Meta disapprove or limit it, and you find out days later in a diagnostics screen.
SKUvet reads your published products and lists exactly which ones are missing:
- an image or a price (Google and Meta reject these; a price or sale price of 0 is listed too, since Google rejects it),
- a main image under 500 × 500 pixels (Google disapproves these from 31 January 2027), with each image’s size,
- a price above 0 on a variation (each variation is its own feed item),
- a description,
- a brand (WooCommerce Brands, common brand plugins, or a “brand” attribute),
- a GTIN, UPC, EAN or ISBN (WooCommerce’s own field and the fields of common GTIN and feed plugins) or an MPN,
- a title of 150 characters or less.
Each problem links to the products so you can fix them. It also names the feed and catalog plugins that are active.
The GTIN check finds products with no GTIN and no MPN in any of those fields; it doesn’t yet check that a GTIN’s digits are valid.
The same product data feeds ChatGPT shopping: OpenAI’s product feed spec requires a brand, a description, an image and a price for every item (as of October 2026), and SKUvet lists the products missing any of them. It doesn’t check the other fields of that feed, which your feed plugin fills in.
A 72-second walkthrough (demo store, AI voice-over):
It works alongside any feed plugin (Google for WooCommerce, Meta for WooCommerce, Pinterest for WooCommerce, Product Feed PRO, CTX Feed and others). It doesn’t create a feed and doesn’t change your products.
Privacy: the check runs on your own server and reads your own database. Nothing is sent anywhere, and there’s no tracking. The result is stored in one option, removed when you delete the plugin.
SKUvet Pro is an optional paid add-on, sold at https://opsfixes.com/product-feed-check/pro/: it runs the same check on every product each night (any catalog size) and emails you only when products newly fail or get fixed, with 12 months of history and a CSV. Nothing in this plugin is locked or limited by it.
This is an early version, built by Hieu Tran with AI agents. A free web version that checks any store from the outside is at https://opsfixes.com/product-feed-check/check/.
SKUvet is an independent plugin and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WooCommerce, Google or Meta.
