SmartSync Lite synchronizes media with Amazon S3, DigitalOcean Spaces, Wasabi, and Bunny Storage/CDN. Connect storage, upload media through the background queue, then enable cloud media delivery.
Lite features
- Provider setup with credential verification and storage discovery. Select existing storage or create a bucket where supported. Bunny requires an existing storage zone and connected public pull zone.
- Incremental media uploads, full resync, local restore, progress reporting and stop controls.
- Media URL delivery through direct storage URLs or a connected Bunny pull zone.
- Attachment originals and generated sizes, with optional local cleanup after successful offloading.

External Services
SmartSync Lite connects to the provider selected by an administrator after credentials are supplied. During connection checks, storage setup, usage queries, uploads, restores and deletions, it sends authenticated API requests, bucket or zone names, regions, object keys and file metadata. Uploads send the selected media file contents. Account and storage credentials are used to authenticate requests to that provider. Enabling cloud delivery also causes visitors’ browsers to request media from the configured public storage or CDN hostname.
- Amazon S3: Service terms and privacy notice.
- DigitalOcean Spaces: Terms and privacy policy.
- Wasabi: Legal and customer agreement and privacy policy.
- Bunny Storage/CDN: Terms and privacy policy.
Provider accounts and service charges are separate from this plugin. Pro-only previews in Lite do not connect to Google Cloud Storage, Cloudflare R2 or CloudFront.
