SR Anywhere

SR Anywhere is the hosted service from the team behind Slider Revolution for heroes, sliders, carousels and one-page
sites. It does not replace the Slider Revolution plugin; both work side by side.

This plugin connects your site to your SR Anywhere account and places your modules with a block:

• full width and full screen as designed;
• the module’s height and background are there before any script runs: zero layout shift, good for Core Web Vitals;
• one connection per site, made by an administrator; editors pick modules.

The modules stay in SR Anywhere. The plugin does not contain the engine; the service delivers it. The plugin needs an SR
Anywhere account; the Free plan is enough to start, with the service’s watermark.

External services

This plugin is a connector for SR Anywhere (https://anywhere.sliderrevolution.com), a hosted service of ThemePunch OHG,
Im Mediapark 5, 50670 Köln, Germany, where modules (heroes, sliders, carousels, one-page sites) are made and from where
they are delivered. The plugin contains no engine and keeps no modules; it needs the service to do anything. Nothing is
sent to the service before an administrator connects the site.

What is sent, and when:

• Connecting (Settings → SR Anywhere → “Connect SR Anywhere”): your site’s server registers the site with the service
  (the site’s name, address and return route) and opens the service’s consent page in a new tab, where you sign in or
  create an account and allow the connection. The service then keeps your site’s host name and environment (live, staging,
  development, local) with the connection, which you can end at any time there (Settings → Connections) or here
  (Disconnect). A site without HTTPS connects with a key you make in the service instead. The connection’s tokens are
  stored encrypted on your server and never reach a browser.
• While an administrator or editor uses the plugin’s screens (the block, Settings → SR Anywhere, the Elementor widget):
  your server asks the service for your account’s modules, plan and limits, over HTTPS with the connection’s token, and the
  browser loads the modules’ preview pictures from embed.sliderrevolution.com. The plugin caches the answers for a minute
  to a day.
• When a page with a module is saved, and about once a day: your server asks embed.sliderrevolution.com for the
  module’s start (its height and background), sending the module’s public key and your site’s host name. No visitor is
  involved; this request counts no view.
• When a visitor views a page with a module: the visitor’s browser loads the module, its engine, its media and fonts
  from embed.sliderrevolution.com, served by Cloudflare. The service processes the visitor’s IP address and request for the
  moment of delivery, counts one view per module shown together with the page’s host name (a number per month, not a
  record of a person), and sets no cookie, no local storage entry and no identifier. Fonts are served by the service’s own
  edge, so the browser does not contact Google. Media a module owner embedded from elsewhere (a YouTube or Vimeo video,
  for example) come from that provider under its rules. Modules of the Free plan carry the service’s watermark, which
  links to the service.
• The plugin itself sends no data about your visitors, editors or content to the service. The account owner’s e-mail
  address is shown to administrators in Settings → SR Anywhere and is not stored beyond the connection.

The plugin marks its scripts as “necessary”/”functional” for consent tools (Cookiebot, CookieYes, Borlabs, Complianz, Real
Cookie Banner), because the delivery sets no cookies and stores nothing about the visitor; a blocked script would only
leave an empty box. Videos from third parties stay subject to your consent tool.
