SUMALE is a platform that lets any business run its own loyalty club, under its own brand, without customers having to download an app.
This plugin connects your WooCommerce store to your club, so the same customer earns points both in your physical shop and in your online store.
- Automatic points on every paid order, calculated on the order total excluding shipping.
- If an order is refunded (fully or partially) or cancelled, points are adjusted automatically.
- An opt-in checkbox at checkout shows how many points the purchase earns. For stores in the European Union it is unchecked by default.
- “You earn 115 points with this purchase” under the price of each product, updated when a variation is selected. For themes built with Elementor or other page builders, use the
[sumale_puntos]shortcode. - A floating club bubble with your club’s colors and wording: it shows what each product or the cart earns, the club’s rewards and, for logged-in customers, their balance.
- “My points” in My Account: the customer’s balance, how far each reward is, and a link to the club app.
- Compatible with the classic checkout (including Elementor), the block-based checkout, and High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
A SUMALE account is required: the club, its rewards and your customers’ points live in SUMALE. See “External services” below for exactly what is sent and when.
External services
This plugin connects your store to SUMALE (https://sumale.app), the loyalty platform where your club and your customers’ points live. It is required: without it, the plugin does nothing. Every request is signed with your store’s connection key.
- When you connect the store (WooCommerce SUMALE), and once an hour afterwards: your site URL, store currency and the WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP and plugin versions. SUMALE answers with your club’s name, points rule, wording and rewards.
- When a logged-in customer checks their points (club bubble or My Account): the email address of their account. SUMALE only answers whether they are a member and their balance.
- When an order is paid, refunded or cancelled: the order ID and number, status, billing email and name, currency, order total, shipping total, refunded amount, and whether the customer ticked the loyalty checkbox at checkout.
