Uncap AI Shopping Connector for WooCommerce connects your store to AI shopping agents. It implements the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), ACP pre-flight discovery, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools. UCP and MCP agents can search products and create checkouts; ACP agents can detect the store and its currently advertised capabilities before attempting a transaction.
What this means in practice
AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, and others are beginning to shop on behalf of users. When a user says “order me roses for my wife’s birthday,” the agent needs a structured way to find a store, check availability, and complete a purchase. UCP is the protocol that makes that possible. This plugin makes your WooCommerce store a first-class destination for those agents.
Features
- UCP and ACP discovery — agents find and understand your store through
/.well-known/ucp,/.well-known/acp.json, and REST discovery - Agent-ready catalog — AI-optimized product search plus per-product readiness scoring for the fields agents and feeds actually use
- Agent checkout — create, update, and complete checkouts via REST, with fulfillment, coupons, and webhook support
- MCP and WebMCP tools — a JSON-RPC 2.0 endpoint plus browser tools for agents that search and initiate purchases
- Local agent analytics — see protocol traffic, product searches, checkout progress, and completed orders inside your store
- Conformance tested — zero failures or errors across the current 77-test official UCP suite (17 suites; 14 capability-dependent skips)
Requirements
- WordPress 6.0+
- WooCommerce 7.0+
- PHP 8.0+

External Services
This plugin connects to the following external services:
UCP schema and specification URLs
The plugin includes https://ucp.dev/ URLs in UCP discovery and schema response payloads as passive identifiers for the Universal Commerce Protocol specification. These values are not service endpoints used by the plugin. The plugin never connects to ucp.dev and never sends store, customer, order, or analytics data to ucp.dev.
The ACP pre-flight document includes https://agenticcommerce.dev/ as a passive documentation identifier for the Agentic Commerce Protocol. The plugin never connects to agenticcommerce.dev and never sends store, customer, order, or analytics data to it.
The plugin also includes passive schema identifiers from https://schema.org/ in front-end JSON-LD markup, https://json-schema.org/ inside the bundled local WebMCP library, and the standard http://www.w3.org/2000/svg XML namespace inside bundled admin SVG icons. The plugin does not connect to any of these domains or send data to them.
UCP Checker admin link
The admin dashboard includes a link to https://ucpchecker.com so store owners can learn more about the public UCP Checker service. The plugin does not call ucpchecker.com automatically and does not send store, customer, order, analytics, or installation data to it. Data is shared with ucpchecker.com only if a store owner manually opens that external site and chooses to use it. Terms and privacy policy are provided by ucpchecker.com on that external site.
AI agent webhook URLs
When an AI agent initiates a checkout, it may supply an agent profile URL in the UCP-Agent request header. When Agent Webhooks are enabled, the plugin fetches that profile URL to read the agent’s configured webhook URL. The plugin then sends order event notifications (e.g. order placed, order shipped) to that webhook URL. This feature is disabled by default and must be enabled by the store owner under Agentic Commerce Settings Agent Webhooks.
- Data sent to the agent profile URL: the HTTP request needed to retrieve the public agent profile
- Data sent to the webhook URL: the current order snapshot for the agent checkout, including checkout ID, order status, permalink URL, currency, line items, totals, buyer contact fields, adjustments, fulfillment expectations, and fulfillment events
- When: only during an active agent-initiated checkout session, and only when the store owner has enabled webhooks
- Who receives it: the AI agent service that initiated the checkout (e.g. Claude, a custom agent)
- Opt-in: store owner controls this in plugin settings
- Terms and privacy policy: the destination is supplied by the external AI agent service, so there is no single terms or privacy URL controlled by this plugin. Store owners should review that agent service’s terms and privacy policy before enabling Agent Webhooks.
Bundled JavaScript library
The WebMCP feature uses the @mcp-b/global library (MIT licence), bundled locally in assets/js/mcp-global.iife.js. No requests are made to unpkg.com or any CDN at runtime. Source code: https://github.com/WebMCP-org/npm-packages/tree/main/packages/global
The Checkout activity admin screen renders local charts with Chart.js 4.4.6 (MIT licence), bundled locally in assets/js/vendor/chartjs/chart.umd.min.js (unmodified npm UMD build). No requests are made to any CDN at runtime. Source code and build tooling: https://github.com/chartjs/Chart.js/tree/v4.4.6
