VDot Email Delivery Manager brings SMTP delivery, email logging, queueing, diagnostics, templates and optional tracking into one WordPress dashboard.

Privacy

VDot Email Delivery Manager can store email recipient addresses, subjects, message bodies, headers, attachments paths and delivery results in the WordPress database when email logging is enabled. Email logs are enabled by default so administrators can diagnose delivery problems.

Open and click tracking is disabled by default. If an administrator explicitly enables tracking, VDot Email Delivery Manager may process and store IP addresses, browser/device information, user-agent information and clicked URLs. Tracking data is stored locally in the WordPress database. Site owners are responsible for providing any notices or consent required by applicable law.

Portable backup imports intentionally do not restore SMTP passwords, webhook secrets, or historical tracking data.

External Services

VDot Email Delivery Manager only contacts external email services after a site administrator configures and uses one of those services. Email recipients, message content, sender information, authentication credentials/tokens, and related delivery metadata may be transmitted as required by the selected provider.

SMTP services supported by administrator configuration include Gmail, Outlook/Microsoft 365, Yahoo, Zoho, Amazon SES, Mailgun, SendGrid, Brevo, SMTP2GO, Elastic Email, SparkPost, SMTP.com, Mailjet, and custom SMTP servers. When one is configured and email is sent, recipient addresses, sender details, message subject/body, attachments, and SMTP credentials may be transmitted to that provider for delivery. The site administrator is responsible for reviewing the selected provider’s terms and privacy policy before use.

Optional webhook endpoints are disabled by default. If enabled, configured email providers may send delivery-event payloads to the WordPress site, where verified payloads may be stored locally for diagnostics.

Source code: The plugin ships with the human-readable PHP, CSS and JavaScript source used by the distributed build. No separate build step is required for the bundled assets.
