ViralMaisuriyaa Accessibility Scanner is a standalone server-side accessibility auditing plugin for WordPress administrators.
The plugin uses the WordPress HTTP API and PHP DOM extension to inspect the HTML returned by public URLs. It can discover crawlable same-domain URLs from WordPress/XML sitemaps and page links, scan selected content scopes, show live progress, and provide detailed reports with issue severity, affected elements, selectors, WCAG references, disability context, and remediation guidance.
Available scan scopes include the entire site, home page, pages, posts, categories, tags, author archives, WooCommerce products, product categories, and custom post types/other content.
No external scanning API, API key, SaaS account, Node.js service, Chromium service, or third-party scanner is required.
Important limitations
This plugin performs server-side HTML analysis. It does not execute the audited site’s JavaScript and cannot reliably evaluate browser-rendered behavior such as computed CSS color contrast, visual focus styling, target dimensions, dynamic ARIA changes, keyboard interaction, or focus trapping. Those checks are identified for manual/browser testing where appropriate.
Privacy and outbound requests
The plugin sends HTTP requests only to public URLs selected by an administrator for scanning and to same-domain URLs discovered while crawling that site. These requests are necessary to retrieve the HTML and sitemap data being audited. The plugin does not send scan data to a third-party service.
