Widgets load on verified domains. To activate:

1. Sign up for free at the Vunelix developer portal
2. Add and verify your website domain
3. Install this plugin and start embedding widgets

External services

This plugin relies on two external services to function. By using the plugin you agree to the terms and privacy policies linked below.

Vunelix (vunelix.com)

What it is and what it is used for: Vunelix is the service operated by the plugin author. It provides the widget rendering API (HTML/CSS/icon templates per widget), domain-based authorization, language JSON files, and the icon/image assets shown in the WordPress admin dashboard (widget previews, country/symbol flags).

What data is sent and when:

• When a widget is rendered on a frontend page, the browser sends a POST request to https://vunelix.com/embed/render containing the widget slug, the widget settings configured in the admin, and the page URL on which the widget is embedded. The site domain is detected from the standard Origin / Referer headers the browser already sends.
• When a widget loads, the browser fetches language JSON files from https://vunelix.com/assets/js/lang/.... (Widget CSS is bundled with the plugin and loaded locally — see “Source code” below.)
• In the WordPress admin dashboard, country flag icons and asset/symbol icons used inside select dropdowns are loaded as <img> tags from https://vunelix.com/assets/icons/... (these change frequently as new symbols/markets are added, so they are served centrally rather than bundled).
• The admin dashboard also calls https://vunelix.com/api/ to fetch the searchable lists of currencies, stocks, and crypto symbols when the widget settings UI is opened.

No personal user data is collected by the plugin itself.

FCS API (fcsapi.com)

What it is and what it is used for: FCS API is the upstream market-data provider used by the Vunelix backend to source real-time prices, technical signals, and chart data for crypto, forex, and stock symbols. Widgets receive this data via the Vunelix API and via a WebSocket stream.

What data is sent and when: When a widget connects, a WebSocket connection is opened to the FCS data feed to stream price updates for the symbols configured on the widget. No personal data is sent.

Source code

All JavaScript shipped with this plugin is provided in human-readable, un-obfuscated form inside the assets/js/ directory of the plugin. Widget CSS is bundled with the plugin under assets/css/widget-runtime/. Admin dashboard CSS lives directly under assets/css/. The world map drawn by the Maps widgets is a plain SVG bundled at assets/images/world-map.svg.

For performance, each widget is also shipped pre-bundled in assets/js/dist/, so a page loads one script instead of roughly eleven separate ES module requests. These bundles are minified (comments and whitespace removed) but not obfuscated: identifier names are never mangled, so every variable, function and class in a bundle carries the same name as in the source that ships beside it. The complete, un-minified source for every bundle is included in assets/js/ — nothing is shipped in compressed form alone. If assets/js/dist/ is deleted, the plugin automatically falls back to loading the original module sources, so no build step is required to inspect, modify, or run the code.

To regenerate the bundles from source:

cd build && npm install && npm run build

The build scripts live in build/ and use Rollup (to inline imports) followed by Terser (to strip comments). Identifier names are never mangled, so every name in a bundle matches the source that ships beside it. The widget list is read from includes/widgets/, so no file list is duplicated.

Bundled third-party library

The Financials widgets (Statements, Key Statistics, Company Dividends, Earnings and Revenue) draw their charts with Chart.js 4.5.1, released under the MIT License. It ships with the plugin in assets/js/vendor/.

This is a reduced build rather than the full library: it registers only the parts these widgets use — bar and line controllers, the linear and category scales, and the tooltip and legend plugins. Everything else (doughnut, radar, polar area, the time scale) is left out, which takes it from 203 KB down to 150 KB.

• chart-slim.src.js — the readable source it is built from: a short file that imports the needed Chart.js parts and registers them
• chart-slim.rollup.config.mjs — the Rollup config that produces the build, so it can be reproduced exactly
