WarrantyARK — EU Guarantee Notice

From 27 September 2026, Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 — together with Directive (EU) 2024/825 — introduces a harmonised legal-guarantee notice and a durability label (GARAN) for goods sold to consumers in the EU, with no transition period. WarrantyARK — EU Guarantee Notice helps you display these official graphics on your WooCommerce store, in the language of your customer.

This plugin is a display helper. It shows the official harmonised graphics unaltered, as intended by the Regulation. It does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that your store is legally compliant — whether and how the rules apply to your business is for you (and, if needed, your legal advisor) to determine.

Features

• Harmonised EU legal-guarantee notice (Annex I) — on the product page, the checkout, and the order confirmation email. Turn each placement on or off.
• All 24 EU languages, with an Automatic setting that follows the language of the page being viewed (works with Polylang and WPML).
• Reveal or expanded display — a compact “Your legal guarantee rights” row that opens the full notice on click (works with JavaScript disabled), or the full notice shown at all times.
• Configurable width with a QR-scannability minimum (428px), as the Regulation requires.
• GARAN durability label (Annex II) — appears automatically for qualifying products; nested strip or full label. Set the guarantee, brand and model per product.
• Shortcodes for manual placement: [warrantyark_eu_notice] and [warrantyark_eu_garan year="3" brand="Acme" model="X100"].
• Optional “Add to WarrantyARK” button after checkout (off by default) — shoppers can save their purchase and its warranty in the free WarrantyARK app.
• Lightweight, no account required. The notice and label are static graphics rendered locally; no shopper data is sent from your store by the plugin.

Why turn on “Add to WarrantyARK”?

After checkout, shoppers can save their purchase and its warranty into the free WarrantyARK app in one tap.

• For your store: the relationship doesn’t end at checkout. Your brand stays in the customer’s pocket — together with the warranty they bought from you — which supports repeat visits and loyalty. It’s optional, off by default, and takes one setting to enable.
• For your customers: their receipt and warranty are saved automatically, with reminders before anything expires and help filing a claim if something breaks — no more lost receipts.

It turns EU guarantee compliance from a checkbox into a post-purchase experience your customers actually value.

There is a separate plugin, WarrantyARK Connect, available at warrantyark.com, which is installed alongside this one and adds custom position, category scoping, branding, a richer “Add to WarrantyARK” and statistics. It is not hosted on WordPress.org. This free plugin is complete and fully functional on its own.

External services

This plugin can connect to the WarrantyARK service, only for the optional “Add to WarrantyARK” button:

• When: only when a shopper clicks the “Add to WarrantyARK” button on the order-received page or in the order email. No connection is made just by installing the plugin or browsing the store.
• What is sent: clicking the button opens the WarrantyARK web app (app.warrantyark.com) with non-personal purchase context in the link (store name, order number, item names). There the shopper signs in and explicitly consents before any purchase details are saved to their own WarrantyARK account.
• No shopper personal data is transmitted by the plugin itself.
