Yosoylu SMTP Mail Delivery routes WordPress mail through an authenticated SMTP server so messages leave your site reliably.
This plugin lets you:
- Connect any SMTP server: Enter host, port, encryption, username, and password, or start from a provider preset.
- Send a test email: Confirm that the connection and credentials work before you rely on them.
- Review email history: Every send attempt is logged until you clear the log. Message bodies are not stored.
- Protect credentials: Passwords are encrypted at rest and never printed back into the settings form.
An optional separate Pro add-on can add extras such as resending mail and storing attachment metadata. Core SMTP and logging in this free plugin are fully available without a license.
Add-on plugins can register extra modules through the yosoylu_smtp_registered_features filter without changing this core plugin.
External services
This plugin optionally connects to Google and Microsoft OAuth APIs when you choose Gmail or Outlook / Microsoft 365 as your mail provider. OAuth is used for SMTP authentication so your Google or Microsoft account password is never stored in WordPress.
When you connect an account, the plugin sends authorization requests to the provider and receives access and refresh tokens. Those tokens are stored only on your site, encrypted at rest, and used solely to authenticate SMTP sending initiated by your WordPress site. Tokens are not shared with third parties beyond what is required to complete OAuth and deliver mail you send via wp_mail().
You can use the plugin with any other SMTP server without enabling Google or Microsoft OAuth.
